PRISTINE HOSPICE & PALLIATIVE CARE

Hospice is a medically directed interdisciplinary program of health care and services designated to meet the special needs of patients and their loved ones— specifically when a patient is diagnosed with a terminal illness of which all curative measures have been exhausted and comfort and palliative care are desired. Palliative care is the part of hospice care that focusses on specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.
